Assam Govt Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma and his cabinet decide 26441 number of vacancy notified by Assam Govt Direct Recruitment Board  State Level Recruitment Commissions of Govt. of Assam. The vacancy notifications for the recruitment of 26441 Grade III & Grade IV Vacancy under the various departments of Govt. These vacancies will be filled up by the recruitment rules framed by the newly constituted Assam Direct Recruitment Commission for Analogous Posts in Class III and Class IV Act 2021 and Assam Direct Recruitment for Class III and Class IV Analogous Posts Rules 2022.

Eligibility Criteria of Assam Direct Recruitment

Grade III (Category I)

Name of posts: Accountant, Cashier, Junior Assistant, LDA, Stenographer, etc.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s Degree with Computer Certificate/ Diploma of minimum 6 months duration

Grade III (Category II)

Name of posts: Field Assistant, Fieldman, Foreman, Section Assistant, Soil Conservation Field Worker Junior, Agriculture Extension Officer, etc.

No of posts: 3,690 posts

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed HSSLC or class 12th or equivalent examinations. (Some specific posts need candidates to be class 12th passed from science stream.)

Grade III (Category III)

Name of post: Driver

No of posts: 1,120 posts

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination.

Grade-IV (Class-IV)

Maximum Qualification: The maximum allowed educational qualification for Class-IV posts is HSSLC or class 12th or equivalent examination passed. Candidates having qualification higher than maximum qualification are not eligible to apply for these vacancy.

Age Limit: The Candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as on 1st January 2022.

Age Relaxation: The category wise upper age relaxation is as mentioned below.

Selection Process of Assam Direct Recruitment

Assam Direct Recruitment Commission will conduct separate competitive examinations for selection of candidates for different category of posts. Accordingly, commission will select candidates for recommendation on merit, in order of higher Grade Pay taking into consideration reservations for SC, ST, OBC and other categories.

The examinations shall be held separately on different dates so as to enable higher degree holders to appear in more than one examination.

Degree Level

Stage 1 (Written Exam)

The candidates applied for the graduate level posts will have to appear in a written test in the 1st phase of the recruitment process. The details of the written test is as mentioned below.
