Common Admission Test CAT 2021 | IIM Admission test | CAT 2021

The Indian Institutes of Management will conduct a computer– based Common Admission Test 2021 (CAT 2021)
on November 28, 2021 in three sessions. Detailed  information on CAT 2021 mention here. CAT 2021 is a prerequisite for admission to various Post  Graduate and Fellow/Doctorate programmes of IIMs. CAT
2021 scores are allowed to be used by listed non–IIM member institutions. A list of such institutions is provided on the CAT website. IIMs have no role in the selection process of non–IIM institutions.

Last Date of online Application : September 15, 2021 (5:00 pm)

CAT 2021 ELIGIBILITY

The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of
candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PWD)
categories]

Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those
who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply

CAT 2021 Reservation

15% for Scheduled Caste (SC)

7.5% for Scheduled Tribe (ST) 

27% for  “Non–Creamy” layer (NC–OBC)

10% for EWS

5% for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwD)

CAT 2021 Registration Fees

Rs. 1100 for SC, ST and PwD candidates.
Rs. 2200 for all other candidates.

CAT 2021 RESULTS AND SHORTLISTING

Information related to the CAT 2021 results will be tentatively available starting from the
second week of January 2022 on this website. The list of candidates shortlisted for the next
level of selection will be made available on the website of the respective IIMs. Each IIM will
send interview letters to the shortlisted candidates directly. The criteria for shortlisting vary
across IIMs. Please visit the admission websites of the respective IIMs for further
information

TEST CENTRES CAT 2021

CAT will be conducted in centres spread across around 158 test cities. Test cities will be mentioned in the CAT
website and the name of the test centre will be indicated in the Admit Card.

Registration opens: August 04, 2021 (10:00 am)
Registration closes: September 15, 2021 (5:00 pm)
Admit card download: October 27 – November 28, 2021
Test date: November 28, 2021
Result declaration: Second week of January, 2022 (Tentative)
