IIT Guwahati Recruitment Part time Gym instructor Vacancy in 2022
Gym Instructor vacancy : Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati invites online applications from eligible Indian Nationals for filling up the following temporary position on contract basis against consolidated pay in the Central Gym and Ladies Gym of IIT Guwahati. Candidates are requested to apply online only. No other means/mode of application will be accepted.
Gym Instructor vacancy Details
1. Part-Time Gym Instructor (for Central Gym) – 01 post
Minimum Academic Qualification: Pass in Higher Secondary (10+2) examination.
Professional Qualification : Diploma in fitness training or Gym Instructor from any recognized institute with minimum 2 years of service experience in Govt. registered gymnasium or institutes (Body building back ground for the man’s Gym Instructor is preferred).
Remuneration : ₹1200/- per day.
Duty hours: 6 days in a week from Morning 6 am to 9 am and Evening 4 pm to 9 pm.
2. Part-Time Lady Gym Instructor (for Ladies Gym) – 01 post
Minimum Qualification: Pass in Higher Secondary (10+2) examination.
Professional Qualification : Diploma in fitness training or Gym Instructor from any recognized institute with minimum 2 years of service experience in Govt. registered gymnasium or institutes.
Remuneration : ₹1200/- per day.
Duty hours: 6 days in a week from Morning 6 am to 9 am and Evening 4 pm to 9 pm.
The engagement for the above will be initially for a period of 11 (eleven) months with a possibility of extension upon satisfactory performance and necessity of the Institute.

Govt. / PSU employee should submit a no objection certificate issued by the employer of the organization at the time of certificate verification.
Merely satisfying the minimum requirement will not guarantee consideration for the selection.
The Institute reserves the right of rejecting any or all the applications without assigning any reasons thereof and also to re-advertise the posts if no suitable candidates are found. Decision of the Institute will be final and binding in all cases.
Candidates will not have any claim for a regular appointment in the Institute on the strength of this temporary appointment.
