Holika Dahan will start after a few hours from now. This time there is a shadow of Bhadra on the date of Falgun Purnima. According to the astrologers, due to which Holika Dahan cannot be performed at dusk. According to astrological calculations, the Bhadra period has started from around 1:21 pm today which will last till about 01:22 pm. During this time there will be Bhadra Poonch Kaal which will be from 09:06 to 10:16 at night in which Holika Dahan can be done. It is believed that the influence of Bhadra is less in Poonch period. Therefore it would be right to burn Holika in this time period. Bhadra period is not considered auspicious in scriptures. Holika Dahan can be done at night as soon as the Bhadra period ends. Bhadra will end at 1:22 p.m.
